Install your Thailand eSIM at home, before you fly
- At home, on Wi-Fi
- Within 30 days
- Keep the line off

The short answer
Do the install at home on Wi-Fi, before you fly, within 30 days of buying it. Scan the QR code from your order page, give the line a name, and leave it off until you land. Once the eSIM is added, keep it: a QR code is usually good for a single install.

Before you scan
The phone has to support eSIM and be unlocked; the phone check shows how to confirm both. Get on Wi-Fi first: the eSIM comes over the internet, so pick a steady connection, at home if you can.
Scan the QR code
View your order page on a second screen, or print the code out. The code appears on screen right after payment and stays on that page, so keep the link. iPhone: open Settings, tap Cellular and Add eSIM, then scan. Android: open the SIM settings and add an eSIM (Connections, then SIM manager on Samsung; Network & internet, then SIMs on Pixel). When the camera refuses the code, type the details in by hand from the order page.
After it is added
Give the line a name you will recognise, such as Thailand. Leave it off until you land, and never delete it: a QR code is usually good for a single install. On landing, follow switch it on after landing.
If it fails (Install the eSIM)
When the code will not scan or the install stalls, stay on Wi-Fi and give it one more try. If it stalls again, send the store’s support your order page link and your phone model before a further attempt.
