The short answer
Thailand has three mobile networks: AIS, TrueMove H and NT. TrueMove H belongs to True Corporation, which completed its merger with dtac in 2023; NT, National Telecom, is the state-owned operator, formed by merging TOT and CAT. The plans on this site run on dtac or True, named before you pay.

What the networks say about themselves
The comparison on this page draws on the three networks’ own sites. AIS, Advanced Info Service, keeps its consumer services and its 5G network pages on ais.th, from prepaid and postpaid packages to a tourist plan for visitors. TrueMove H belongs to True Corporation, which completed its merger with dtac on 1 March 2023; True’s pages describe a 5G and 4G network and set out the True5G SA service areas, province by province. NT, National Telecom, was formed by merging TOT and CAT and publishes its mobile service and its 5G service on ntplc.co.th.
How to see the network on your phone
After the eSIM line connects, its network’s name sits next to it: iPhone users find it in Settings, then Cellular (or Mobile service); on Android, it is in the SIM settings. Both lines show up in that list: your usual SIM, and the eSIM.
Check the operator’s own pages for your route
Each network keeps its own pages, and the details are theirs to state: AIS on its network and technology pages, True on its 5G network pages, and NT on its service pages. The plans on this site run on dtac or True, named before you pay, so read the right operator’s pages for the places you are going, then choose the plan that fits.

Which network will my eSIM connect to?
The one named on your plan before you pay: the plans on this site run on dtac or True, and the regional ones name their four countries. Your phone shows that network's name next to the eSIM line once it connects.
Do all three networks have 5G?
Each of them publishes 5G on its own site: AIS has its 5G for consumer pages, True describes its 5G and 4G network and the True5G SA service areas, and NT sells services on its 5G network. Whether a future plan for Thailand uses 5G is not confirmed yet, so this site says nothing about it.
How can I tell which network my eSIM is on?
Next to the eSIM line in your phone's settings you will see the network's name: Cellular or Mobile service on an iPhone, the SIM settings on Android. Your phone lists both lines: your usual SIM and the eSIM.
